Privacy Forms - Electronic Signatures via DocuSign
Many of you have requested the ability to send Privacy Forms to your clients, with the ability for clients to digitally sign on their device. We’re delighted to let you know that we have integrated with DocuSign to do this. This also comes with the added benefit of correctly capturing consent for Commercial Apply.
1. Set your Privacy Form preference
- Navigate to Account from the menu
- Navigate to the Privacy Form tab
- Select to use either Lend's Privacy form (View Lend's Privacy Disclosure Statement and Consent form). Or upload your own privacy form. When using your own privacy form, Lend's Privacy Addendum form will be automatically appended to your form.
2. Send a request to one or more Applicants
- To access Privacy Forms via DocuSign, select an application and navigate to the Summary section. Click the new button labelled Privacy Forms.
- Click the Request a Privacy Consent button, ensuring you have completed all relevant fields in the application.
- Select the Applicants you wish to have sign the Privacy Form
- Confirm the total price and select the Send Request button when ready
- Once sent, you can view the Signed status of the Privacy Form.
- You will be notified (according to your notification preferences) once all requested Applicants have signed the Privacy Form.
- You will see a Complete Status once all Applicants have completed signing the form.
3. Attach the document to a lead
- Once Complete, use the View Document button to view the document.
- Save the document
- Upload the Signed Privacy Form to the Documentation section of the application if you wish to send the signed Privacy Form to the relevant Lender
- Select the appropriate Document type using the Actions button.
- Select Privacy Form (Electronic Signature) from the drop-down select list
Once successfully assigned, your document will appear as shown:
